Brent is a Certified Public Accountant providing tax consulting, bookkeeping, and marketing services to small businesses across all industries.
A graduate of the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, Brent earned a business honors degree followed by a master's in accounting. He earned his CPA license within a year of graduating while working at PwC, where he audited Fortune 500 companies in the Austin area and helped prepare financial statements for an IPO.
When his father's health began to decline, Brent returned to El Paso to help run the family business. He went on to operate it for 15 years, giving him firsthand experience in the challenges small business owners face every day, from human resources and business law to managing cash flow and securing capital.
The COVID-19 pandemic made one thing clear: small business owners needed a CPA who would take the time to truly understand their business and dig into the resources available to them. Having lived the owner's side of the table, Brent knew that business owners need more than technical expertise. They need a true partner.
That conviction led him to found his own firm, Rosen Consulting. Today, Brent combines big-firm training with real-world business ownership experience to help small businesses stay compliant, make informed decisions, and grow with confidence.
Brent is equally committed to the El Paso community. He has served on the boards of several local organizations, including Centro San Vicente and the Better Business Bureau of El Paso, and currently serves as president of the El Paso branch of Habitat for Humanity.
Outside the office, Brent is most often found on a trail with his wife, exploring the Franklin Mountains. He also takes fantasy football very seriously, mostly because it gives him a reason to collect his friends' money every season. As a CPA, he likes to say he's just balancing the books.
