Alba earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso. She was selected for and completed an internship with PwC, one of the Big Four accounting firms. Though the opportunity was a remarkable one, Alba's heart was always at home, and she chose to return to the community that shaped her, where she could make a real, personal difference in the lives of the small business owners who give it its character. She is now actively pursuing her CPA license to serve them with even greater expertise.

Alba brings initiative and strong problem-solving skills to her work, enabling her to approach challenges with a fresh perspective and take an active role in developing solutions. Her attention to detail allows her to be meticulous when handling complex returns.

Alba values the organization's genuine care for its people. She appreciates the supportive environment fostered by her colleagues and enjoys being part of a team that encourages and assists one another.

Away from the office, Alba recharges after a busy week with a good meal and a few minutes of meditation, simple practices that leave her feeling relaxed and renewed.
